Mirka is expanding its power tool range by introducing the first small brush less battery driven spot repair sanders. As with all Mirka machines, the ergonomic design has been a priority to ensure that the light tool can comfortably be used for long periods without fatigue. These strong cordless sanders enable a long working time as the battery lasts up to 16 hours in industrial use. 

The spot repair orbital sander Mirka® AOS-B 130NV is small and energy efficient, with award-winning ergonomic design (Red Dot 2017). Ideal for professionals who appreciate the freedom of movement and low maintenance of a cordless sander. The 10.8V 2.5Ah Li-ion battery lasts up to 16 hours in industrial use and charges in 45 minutes – with two batteries, there is no downtime. Mirka AOS- B has a brushless motor and a 3 mm orbit.

When using a cordless sander the operator can freely move around the object. As no pneumatic hose is needed the risk of the hose causing defects on surface being sanded is removed.

Cordless sanders are more energy effecient compared to pnuematic tools. The sanders do not require oiling, which removes the risk of contamination from compressed air supply.
